We require: 1. Board Certification in General or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry (by ABPN, AOA, RCPSC, or NBPS - other National Boards considered on a case by case basis), 2. Active License to practice in a US state or Canadian Province (licenses from other countries considered on a case by case basis), 3. Completion of CME requirements (36 Category I Credits of ASAP's Core Curriculum track (accessed here) or 36 hours of Category I CME specific to child, adolescent, or young adult psychiatry and subject to ABAP approval at submission, within 3 years prior to application. Note: the second option sunsets on September 30, 2027), 4. Three letters of recommendation, 5. Attestation that at least 25% of clinical time is devoted to work with adolescents or young adults, 6. Payment of required fees, and 7. Successful completion of the online certification examination
