Sure. The examination is now an online, on demand examination. This means that once your application is accepted, you are admitted to take the examination during one of two annual testing sequences we offer, one in the spring and a second in the fall. The examination is proctored by a professional proctoring service and is completed on the date and times of your choosing from the comfort of your home or office. The examination is in two parts. Part I is a written multiple choice exam consisting of 150 questions covering the field of Adolescent and Young Adult Psychiatry. Part II consists of two interview vignettes viewed via a video hosting platform, each followed by 25 questions. Upon receipt of both exams at our office, the examination and proctor report are reviewed and scored. Statistical analysis is then completed on the entire cohort before candidates are notified of their results, which depending on when during the testing sequence candidates take the exams, could be within 30 days of completion of the exam or as long as 90 days after completion.
